What kids and parents love about my cricket holiday programs

Fun, friendship and teamwork. How my cricket holiday programs help kids grow in cricket and confidence.

Hit a six these school holidays and come along to one of my North Shore cricket coaching clinics.

Looking for something active, fun and confidence-boosting for your child these school holidays?

July 2025 school holidays program

My school holiday cricket coaching clinics are the perfect mix of learning, laughter and teamwork – and they’re back this July at two convenient North Shore locations:

Whether your child dreams of being the next cricket superstar or wants to have a go and make new friends, these clinics are designed to suit all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players.

What to expect at my school holiday coaching clinics.

From the moment kids arrive, they’re kept moving and engaged. While registrations are finalised, they’re straight into fun warm-up games and skill-building.

Once everyone’s checked in, coaches go over a few important things:

  • When to take breaks (and stay hydrated!)
  • Sunscreen, hats and sun safety
  • How to let coaches know where they are at all times
  • A reminder that this is holiday fun for everyone, including the coaches!

We emphasise respect, encouragement, kindness, and having a go. Kids are reminded that it’s about enjoying the experience, and helping others do the same.  The environment is kind and inclusive for all boys and girls.

Why parents love my coaching clinics.

Small coach-to-player ratios

With a ratio of 1 coach per 10 kids, this allows for more personal feedback and skill development for each individual.

A structured and engaging program

Throughout the day, all aspects of gameplay are covered, including batting, bowling, fielding, and wicket-keeping, with activities tailored to each child’s level.

Real-time game coaching.

This helps build decision-making, confidence and awareness — something that’s not possible during school or club matches.

Social development at all ages.

This is a big part of the program with the goal of improving communication, expanding friendship circles, developing leadership and encouraging empathy.

Older kids even get a chance to step up as mentors, helping younger players during group activities and game days. This is a fantastic opportunity for building leadership and responsibility.

Why kids keep coming back…

My holiday clinics aren’t run by inexperienced coaches and part-time uni students!

Each clinic is led by qualified teachers and experienced coaches who understand how to make sessions fun, educational and inclusive. Many kids return clinic after clinic, and help set the tone by welcoming new faces and lifting the overall vibe.

Importantly, new kids are never left out.  Coaches have the training and career experience to ensure every child feels included, supported, and excited to come back the next day.

Book in for one day to ensure your child is comfortable.

If you’re unsure whether it’s right for your child, casual day bookings are available. Book a single day, and if your child loves it (we’re pretty confident they will!), you can easily book in for another day. Come as often as your child feels comfortable.

World Cup Match and presentation ceremony

On the final day of the clinic, the excitement ramps up with our much-anticipated World Cup match series.

Children are grouped into teams and play a series of games that bring together everything they’ve learned throughout the clinic. It’s a fun and rewarding way to finish, and one the kids always look forward to.

Older players take on the role of captain, guiding and supporting younger teammates. This is an excellent opportunity for them to develop leadership skills and foster a nurturing, team-focused environment.

We then hold a presentation ceremony where each child receives individual feedback report from their coach, outlining strengths and areas for future development. Awards are given in each group to recognise players who have shown outstanding improvement, sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude.

Parents and family are warmly invited to attend the matches and cheer on the players and attend the presentation ceremony.
