Geoff Spotswood
Level 3 Cricket Coach – Cricket Australia
Geoff Spotswood is a Level 3 Cricket Australia coach –the highest coaching Australian Sports Commission (ASC) accreditation currently available. This qualifies Geoff to provide challenging opportunities for players of all skill levels – from beginners through to Australian representatives.
Geoff is a current PDHPE teacher and has had years of experience in working in both public and private schools and co-ed and single sex systems. Geoff is also the father of two daughters and has previously coached their sporting teams.
Geoff is one of the few sportsmen to have played at First Grade level in both cricket and rugby league. During his sporting career, Geoff played First Grade Cricket for Bankstown and Western Suburbs as well as First Grade Rugby League for Western Suburbs Magpies and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. Geoff continues to play competitive cricket now, mentoring young players as they fine tune their skills, develop confidence and naturally transition into senior teams.
